Landscapes in the Cinema Happy Hour event
Have you ever watched a fun movie and found you were mesmerized more by the movie setting, its scenery or landscape, than the plot? The Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC) is excited to host a virtual movie night where we’ll watch a series of movie clips through the lens of ‘Landscape in the cinema.’
Mark your calendars for Friday, March 12, 2021, at 5:30-6:30pm.
EPC January Event
The Emerging Professionals Committee started the year off by hosting the LARE Roundtable Conversation with four panelists. The panelists, which included Bentley, Crystal, Darneka, Jael, & Nicole, each took the exam at different stages of their careers and had terrific study tips to offer. Here are a few LARE study tips that emerged from the discussion:
“Don’t get caught in the weeds of all the topics you need to know, understand the big picture. And read each question twice.”
“Put your practical knowledge and design experience aside and prepare for each exam learning the answers the test writers require.”
“Purchase the practice tests for they will help you learn the answers you need to provide, you will become familiar with the format of the exams, and there are many questions on the exams that are extremely similar to the practice test questions.”
