Submit Your Proposal For The 2022 NCASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture Now

Planning for the 2022 NCASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture is well underway, and it looks like we’ll be finding our way back to where we intended to convene prior to the pandemic this coming May in Wilmington.

In the spirit of the confluence at Wilmington and the adjacent coast of the Cape Fear River, Intracoastal Waterway, and the Atlantic Ocean, the conference has been titled the “Conference on Confluence” and aims to celebrate the many forms of “confluence” in our professional lives. This will be expressed through topics related to those differing factors that join to create innovative and diverse solutions, but also those projects and processes that promote collaboration, environmental justice and social and economic resiliency for our local communities.

The call for proposals for speaker sessions has gone out and we look forward to seeing your best work and expert knowledge highlighted at the conference. If you have topics that fit the bill, please get those submitted via our online form before 11:59 PM on Friday, December 3.

Additionally, we are looking for folks with work worth visiting in Wilmington and surrounding areas that we can include on tours as a part of the conference. Please send ideas for tour stops or destinations to our Member-at-Large for Conference and Awards, Dan Lambert at lambert@mcadamsco.com.
