Welcome Mountain Section Chair, Rose Tanksley

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our newest Executive Committee Member Rose Tanksley, PLA, ASLA.

Rose is a landscape architect in Western North Carolina. She holds a BS in Plant and Soil Science from SIU and an MLA from Ball State University. Over the last 14 years, she has practiced in several arenas of landscape architecture in the Southeast, including land development, park planning, GIS mapping, design guideline development, and residential design and maintenance. Experience has taught her the value of collaboration between designers, contractors and nursery professionals as a means of educating one another and building great projects.

Rose recently moved to Sylva, and enjoys gardening, hiking, and finding inspiration in our public lands.
