Call for Entries: 2019 Professional and Student Awards

Submission are now being accepted for the 2019 ASLA Southeast Regional Conference. Award submissions are open to projects or to ASLA Members, Associates, and Fellows in the Southeast Region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia). This includes Faculty members, and Students currently teaching or enrolled in landscape architecture programs within the region. Applicants for student awards must be the student who performed the work or students from a team that performed the work. Student projects must have been performed while enrolled at an accredited university, and may be submitted up to one year post graduation. Professional entries are accepted from private practice, public agencies, non-profit, local, state and federal government entities. Entries from other professions are accepted pending pre-approval by the Awards Chair. Professional entry applicants must be the owner of the firm, the person responsible for stamping/sealing the plans, and/or the project manager responsible for performing the work.

  • Other than projects submitted for the Landmark Award category, all projects completed after January 1, 2014, are eligible.

  • A project may be resubmitted until it wins an award at the Southeast Regional level. The awards will be juried by an ASLA Chapter outside of the Southeast Region.

  • The deadline for awards submissions is Friday March 8, 2019. All submittals shall be in PDF format and emailed to awardssoutheast@gmail.com. The subject of the email should be: AWARD CATEGORY: PROJECT TITLE

  • Entry fee is due at the time of submittal. Once all entry materials and fees have been received by the awards committee, the entry will be considered complete and sent to the awards jury. Entrants will receive a receipt of materials and fees for their records.
