WxLA Garden Party 2022

Please join NC State’s WxLA chapter in celebrating the end of the semester and the spring season. Local landscape architect Christine Hilt has opened her home and garden in Apex to host us for this special evening. Celebrate, relax, and make connections with students, faculty, professionals, and alumni. Please bring a favorite potluck dish to share. Space is limited, please RSVP here!

The goal of WxLA (Womxn in Landscape Architecture) is to promote gender justice in the field of Landscape Architecture and support womxn in reaching their highest potential. All are welcome to attend this event, regardless of gender identity. Families are also welcome to join! There will be a good amount of seating available, but please bring a camping or folding chair if you have one.

When: Saturday, April 23rd, 5-8pm
Where: Christine Hilt’s garden, Apex, NC

Getting there: Street parking is limited in the neighborhood, so carpooling/ridesharing is encouraged. The exact address will be shared after RSVP.

Rainy day policy: As long as it isn’t thunder and lightning, folks can bring umbrellas and still enjoy the garden. If it is looking like a thunderstorm, we will send out an email the day before or morning of the event with any updates.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We hope to see you there!
